The new pdf bundle is available: Functional Programming with C++17 and C++20

Contents[Show]

I have prepared the pdf bundle. To get it is quite simple.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, you will get the pdf bundle in return. Have a look at the right top corner of this page.This automatism makes it quite comfortable for me. People, who are already subscribed to my newsletter will get the pdf bundle automatically.

The pdf bundle includes

  • my posts
  • all source code files to these posts.
  • a cmake file that requires a decent gcc or clang compiler (Maybe, a Visual Studio 2017 compiler will also work).

There are a few smaller issues with the fonts. Converting to pdf had a few issues if the font of the HTML source changed. This include in particular links and bold fonts. What is even more strange, is, that this it is mainly a problem with the English posts.

To be honest, to create the pdf bundles and automate the process with a Python script was quite a job.

Concurrency With Modern C++

With C++11 and C++14 we got a lot of new C++ libraries. In addition, the existing ones are greatly improved. The key idea of my book is to give you the necessary information to the current C++ libraries in about 200 pages.

C++11 is the first C++ standard that deals with concurrency. The story goes on with C++17 and will continue with C++20.

I'll give you a detailed insight in the current and the upcoming concurrency in C++. This insight includes the theory and a lot of practice with more the 100 source files.

Get my books "The C++ Standard Library" and "Concurrency with Modern C++" in a bundle.

In sum, you get more than 500 pages full of modern C++ and more than 100 source files presenting concurrency in practice.
